Hi, this is Ziwen, and I am a senior at Carnegie Mellon University double majoring in material science engineering and computer science. My current academic interest spans from human-computer interactions and computational imaging. I am currently an undergraduate researcher at Morphing matter lab working with professor Lining Yao. A project I am working on focuses on developing AR tools that visualize material intrinsics to faciliate material science learning.

In the past,

I have worked in the Hybrid-Nanomaterials and Nano-Bioelectronics Group with Professor Cohen-Karni, developing silk substrate based supercapacitor. More details is shown here Silk-based NT3DFG

I have also worked in Yi Cui lab under Dr. Chong Liu . My work aimed to use alternating current electrodeposition to remove heavy metals from waste water. Direct/Alternating Current Electrochemical Method for Removing and Recovering Heavy Metal from Water Using Graphene Oxide Electrode

Apart from school, I enjoy photography a lot. I have attached a link to all my past photo projects
